Why is the blog back from the dead? Frankly, Baby Daddy wants to write a post (multiple posts?) about life in the Hunt Household. It's been a busy half of year. . .
Why did it die? I wish I could think of some elaborate story about having to fight off a zombie horde that ruined our ability to type and cut us off from the rest of the world for over 6 months, but I'm not that clever.
Does the reader need a shotgun before we continue reading it? No. There are no undead roaming on this blog.
Will the blog die again? Oh probably, but just like zombies, it'll be back.

Now, I'd like to promise that I could go in chronological order from the moment that I finished making my comments on the 2.5 year post, but frankly, I'm not that good at this whole 'documenting my life as it happens.' Maybe I'll make it a Performance Management Goal for Fiscal Year 2014... (Cut to Baby Momma with head in hands. . . going 'Why? Why? Why?')
So what I'll do is hit the highlights of what has happened since February 28th of this year, with the hope that each line item becomes a blog post of its own in the near future. (No promises).
- Justin turned 3! And added a bunch of first experiences to his life.
- We added a member to the Hunt Family!
. . .
A Dog. We added a dog. (The dramatic pause would be MUCH funnier if we hadn't gotten Ozzie 6 weeks ago. . .)
- With our family growing, we 'added' a bedroom, except we didn't plan on adding the bedroom, and it had nothing to do with the addition of a dog to the family. (This one is still ongoing, and will probably involve lots of curse words in the post when the work is completed)
- Finally, we celebrated my grandfather's life, the weddings of two members of our families, and the arrival of a new member to one of our friend's family (with a visit to Kansas City!).
